The location of the doors and windows, combined with what is essentially a long narrow space meant that wall mounted cabinetry wasn’t really viable. With this in mind, the kitchen mainly consits of light coloured base cabinetry, with additional wall storage taking the form of two long, open – oak shelves, above the AGA and two counter top mounted – glazed display units.

The shelves – formed in a contrasting dark oak, feature a clever underlighting lighting treatment which helps to create the rooms light feel. This oak finish has been used to create other accent details such as the feet and worktop to the island; a similar treatment has been given to the rooms dining arrangement.

A wonderful, elypitical bench dining arrangement has been created with a corresponding – oval table design.

The green glass – cooker splash back gives an added touch of colour, cleverly tying in with the pendant lights above the island.
