This historic 17th century – country manor house, with its low ceilings and abundance of architectural features, required a sympathetic and simplistic approach to the style of its new kitchen.
Anything more would have ‘overpowered’ the delightful space. Therefore, A plain –framed shaker style was chosen with a clean and simple cornice and skirting treatment.

The light, custom-colour shade helps to reflect the available light whilst a visually pleasing contrast is given with the cabinetry’s ‘dyed and washed’ oak interior. This same finish is featured on other accent details within the kitchen such as the ‘slide out’ butler trays and chopping boards.
